Simple?

So, I’ve been reading volumes 3 and 4 of Paradise Kiss and was rather amused when George (leader of the group of fashion design students) says, “‘Simple’ is not in my vocabulary!” LOL I was actually talking to ngmaster last night about a costume I wanted to start sewing this weekend and he asked how hard it would be to make. I was going to answer seriously at first but instead I half-jokingly said, “Um, do I ever really do something simple?” I really seem to have a habit of picking complex outfits and making them even more complicated by doing extra handwork on them. ^_^;

Ayame shirt didn’t get started today unfortunately because I couldn’t find my tracing wheel to copy/alter the pattern. Annoying because I should have 2 but can’t seem to find either. -_-; I’m sure I bought a new one recently because I busted one on another project a while back. Hmm… Maybe, I can at least go sew the hairtie later since I don’t need a pattern for that. I signed up to have this judged for the hall contest at Anime Boston so I need to get going.

It's from the last book, volume 5. George is being teased by (Spoiler) about his sexuality and tells him he'll "go to hell or something" and he lightly responds with "I don't care, I can sew clothes on a bed of nails..."

Oh, I feel kind of lazy, too, since I only got my hairtie done. ^_^; It can be a bit hard for me to get started on a project when I don't feel like dealing with my limited work space. Currently, cluttered living room floor = cutting table for me. ^_^;;
