Halloween Pictures

Okay, so I finally got the pictures my brother took on Halloween. This is one of the pics I like best although I look a bit too curvy for Count D. Seems to happen whenever there’s tension on the bodice since I can’t flatten out my bust completely. >_>;

And since I got the recently published Petshop of Horrors artbook over the weekend, I finally found out what colors the peacock dress was actually supposed to be. It turned out to be disappointingly drab with the feather designs done in a single color. I like peacock feathers mainly because of their pretty colors so monochromatic ones didn’t seem nearly as fun. Since I didn’t have a colored version of the picture when I was working on the costume, I had picked my own colors and based the feather design on colors in real peacock feathers. So, they were completely wrong. XD; Still, I like my inaccurate but colorful version. If I had known what the real colors were supposed to be, I might have passed on that particular costume and picked another outfit to make. ^_^;; Hmm... I suppose if I ever get around to trying to make the bird, I'd have to change the colors too since the official version would probably not look that good with my dress.
Finally, a picture with Q-Chan where my dress isn’t doing something weird! I blinked but it kind of makes me look like I’m meditating or something so I guess it’s not too bad.

One with Q-Chan sitting on my shoulder. I put magnets in his feet and in the dress but I still don’t have a picture with him sitting up there that I really like.

A back view. We took a whole bunch of pictures before I realized that the lacing on my glove was coming undone. ^_^;
