Weekend

Well, it’s the weekend. Have fun if you’re going out and doing something for Halloween. ^_^

I’m planning to go to the botanic garden for Count D pictures on Sunday but I’m a bit worried about the wind advisory here this weekend. And it’s only going to be in the 50s. -_-; I hope there will be lots of good photo spots inside the conservatory… Although I kind of wanted to get a photo of D talking to the fish in the water lily pool outside.

So, I’ve been fixing up a few little things on my costume in preparation. Like replacing the crystal beads I had on my tassels with larger ones. The originals were smaller than I would have liked but I had to make do with what I was able to find at the Rag Shop since I didn’t have time to make a trip into the city for beads then.

Still working on the new dress, too. It’s going a bit slower than I’d like. Isn’t it annoying when you cut two of the same pattern piece and then find they don’t fit together when you go to sew them? -_- I think it’s the different fabric since the crepe back satin I’m using for lining seems to stretch more than my brocade.

Thanks. ^_^ It's starting to come together and the fabrics and trim look good with each other but there's still more sewing to be done!

Yes, hopefully, it'll be nice. ^_^ I'm a bit annoyed though that it looks like the weather will be better on Halloween than tomorrow when I can actually go! >_>;

Ooh, weather always manages to be awful like that. >_< It's been rainy all weekend; I'll cross my fingers for a break in the storm for you come tomorrow!
