Met my cross stitch friends today at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and it was great to finally meet them after talking online for so many years. We chatted over drinks in one of the hotel lounges and there were quite a few laughs over jokes in our group. XD
Before meeting up with my friends, I spent a little time in the fashion district, picking up more trims for Terra. I also got a bottle of shimmery red nail polish with a golden sheen to it; I saw it and thought it would be great to go with the costume because of the colors. I saw some little flower stickers for nails that looked like they would be fun, too, but wasn’t completely sure I wanted them. Hmm… I wonder if I could get away with wearing the nail polish with my other costumes, too, since I’m thinking I’d like to wear Terra for a while on both Friday and Saturday at and would prefer not to take away from con time by removing it for other costumes and then repainting. Mainly, I’d worry about it for Ayame since he’s a guy but then he does have red nails in the artbook picture this icon came from… Maybe, I can just try to keep my nails hidden in photos in that costume. ^_^;;
I got my wig in the mail from Cosworx today, too, but I’ll comment on that after I get a picture of it this weekend. I’ve finished another dress panel, leaving 3 panels and 9 flowers left to do. I’m taking a little break from the sequining now though to work on some accessories. I’ve cut some rectangles of material for scarves and will sew them tomorrow.

vampricyoda’s anything goes photoshoot this Sunday. Sorry. ;_; There’s just so much left to do with this costume and I want to get it done as soon as possible so I don’t end up going crazy the last few days before the con.
