Unending drama!

Unbelieveable! I called the Intercontinental Harbor Court Hotel to check on my reservation after lunch and was told that it was cancelled yesterday although I hadn’t done anything. o_O;;; After finding someone who knew what was going on, I was told that they had overbooked and that I was being relocated to the Hilton. The Hilton has my reservation but they’re supposed to be sold out of double bedded rooms so we might not get one and be stuck with a king bed and rollaways.

Not pleased since this wrecks most of my photo plans involving the nice lobby at the Intercontinental. And I can now say with certainty about Otakon, I am never going to this damn con again after this year!

Aww... I did have a nice time Friday, if you ever need anything or want to chat, just hit me up via pm. I'm not much via phone...

Also I have to call the Harbor Court, they charged me for my section of payment, as well as for everyone else for the tea meetup... even though we payed cash... o.O;;

Eep! O_O; I'm sorry about the payment mix up and hope you can get it straightened out quickly! If I thought something like that might have happened, I'd have just offered to lend you the money and let you pay me back later. I remember during the Costume Con tea, everyone was asked to bring cash since it was such a large group and that was why I suggested the same. The restaurant has its own separate number from the hotel and it took me a little searching to find it when I called to ask about prices; it's on their FB page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Baltimore-MD/Brightons/170206761687?ref=ss

And thank you for coming! The tea was the best part of the con for me.
