I'm cosplaying a quilt! :-P

I finished sewing this summer dress several days ago. ^_^ The fabric was stuff I bought at a quilting shop while hanging out with neoangelwink a few weeks ago; I actually wanted to make a dress in kimono fabric but didn’t find one I liked. I’m quite pleased with how it came out and I completely lined it since the background color was light. I’d started it before I left for vacation but didn’t get to finish then since I had to fuss with the bodice to get it to fit properly. -_- I had to trim the whole dress down a size from what I originally cut and the neckline still gapped despite it fitting pretty well everywhere else. Tapered the top of the bodice pieces down another size and made a couple of other little adjustments and the pattern is about perfect now.



My brother is still working on the photoshoots we did while on vacation. Hopefully, I’ll have those pictures in a few days.
