ladyofthethreadSo, I was getting ready to pay my credit card bill for this month and checking on my account online, I found that the Radission in Baltimore charged my card for a night even though I canceled my Otakon reservation. My confirmation e-mail for the cancellation clearly says that I canceled on July 4 and that the deadline to cancel without a penalty was July 9, 2009. Not pleased at all. Now, I need to call the card company after lunch. Bah, I never enjoyed Otakon much and this just seems like another reason to dislike it (the reseravation was through their housing bureau). >_< Glad I went to the Adirondacks instead.
On a more cheerful note, I’ve sorted through my vacation photos so expect a lot of pics soon and maybe some videos if I can figure out how to get them onto my computer. (They didn’t seem to transfer with the photos and the manual doesn’t seem to mention something specific for videos.)

Date: 2009-07-31 08:40 pm (UTC)Though seems con hotels do that alot more :( I was charged for my room AND my friend's portion of it even though we specifically told the hotel to split it in half when we paid up front for a con a year or two ago. So when I overdrew to pay for my college books, I was like "Wait...wtf??"
