Just a few more days until the cosplay party at the Japan Society. Anyone else going? I saw a few people mention it but not that many.

After thinking some more, I decided I just didn’t have time to remake the black robe for the vampire costume when I still have so many things to do on masquerade projects for Costume Con; the vampire outfit was just supposed to be something extra to fit the con theme.

I managed to salvage the robe although the back looks stupid since I had to cut it open, bind the edges, and add a zipper The back wasn’t meant for a zipper since it didn’t have a seam and I think putting a zipper through the back of a mandarin collar is dumb. -_-; It should look fine since the cape covers it but it bugs me that the construction is not up to my usual standards. :-/ Bah. At least, now I can put it on without worrying that I’ll twist my arms weird and injure myself. >_>;

I think I should be able to finish up the costume tomorrow so I’ll be wearing it for the party on Saturday.
