If I didn't know better, I would think someone is out to get me...

I’m sure everyone’s sick of these posts by now but on top of all the bad luck mentioned in my last entry, my iron just died! >_<

I just went to iron some things for Otakon and it wouldn’t start at all despite trying a few different outlets and resetting. I’d been having issues with the auto-off going on when it wasn’t supposed to but it still worked the last time I used it. Not pleased at all considering it’s a Rowenta (which was highly recommended by some friends) and it was only 1 ½ years old. Plus, it cost about $50 so it wasn’t exactly cheap!

I don’t have any time to go iron shopping before the con so I hope the one in my hotel room works decently. Good thing there are only a few wrinkles and none of the stuff I’m bringing needs extensive ironing.

At this point, I think I NEED to go to the con or I'll end up banging my head on the wall.

Awww...sorry to hear about your misfortune. Have fun at the con, I'll see you at the next one.

That stinks about the Rowenta! It's usually such a good brand, my grandma's has lasted for over ten and we've had ours for quite some time as well.

I'm sorry to hear about all of your misfortune this summer :( I hope the con is a blast to help make up for some of it.

Ooops....forgot to ask about the iron!

If you still need a replacement, I can think of a few places worth investigating in the city.

Let me know your thoughts.
