My subconscious is predicting WCS results! XD

Boy, I had a pretty crazy dream Tuesday night. Somehow, I was at the finals of the World Cosplay Summit in Japan to watch as s0nified and umister won first place. (Well, that wasn’t really the crazy part other than me being there since I won’t fly!) The wacky part came when the show ran overtime and the TV broadcast got cut off without the announcement of the winners. Then, I got impatient with the announcer, grabbed the winners list, and ran off to make copies to prove Team USA won. (How the hell did my subconscious come up with that?! o_O;;;;;;)

But seriously, Renee and Sonnya, have a safe trip to Japan and good luck! :-)


From my poll last time, almost everyone liked the russet and black for Eugenie’s dress so I guess I’ll go with that unless I come up with another idea. I still worry though that I’m going to do all the painting and then hate how it looks since the russet isn’t red enough. It matches the detailed reference of the dress fabric relatively well but that pic is also hazy so I think the real colors should be closer to the bright red in the other two pics. :-/ Hmm… I wonder if I can mix red glitter into the paint…

I tend to have pretty crazy dreams sometimes, myself. o_o;

As for the meme...I remember one year when I was at chess camp and you sent me a really pretty card (I think I still have it somewhere...it have a peacock feather on it). I remember it had a little Fruits Basket drawing of Ayame and Hatori, haha. :) That made me really happy, since I felt kind of isolated at the camp, and it was good to hear from a friend.

Ooh, I still have some of those cards! :-) I bought a box since I love peacock feathers but rarely have an occasion to use them since they don't really work for birthdays or Christmas. XD;
