Got home from Canada around 7 last night. Anime North was okay although I wish I’d gotten to see/do more stuff and wear some of my costumes more. It was nice to see
hikaruchan and
genkitozuku again plus meet
novaraven. Won an award for Sequin and Beadwork in the masters division of the masquerade for Terra. ^_^ More detailed report and photos to come later.

Date: 2007-06-06 06:08 pm (UTC)Well, from being in a couple of other masquerades before, I don't think people ever go onstage in the order they signed up. ^_^; Like at AnimeNext, I know they put any youth entries on first and then have the rest in random order. I've been around the middle or a bit before the two years I competed there although I signed up towards the end of preregistration both times. So, I knew I could have been anywhere from the beginning to the end but didn't actually expect to be that close to the end. ^_^;; It seems that they put on all the novice and journeyman entries first this year, before adding in artisan with master entries at the end.
