Portfolio photos

ladyofthethreadOoh, my brother finished the pictures! ^_^ Not up to posting all of them right now but I’ll put up some of the modeling ones in regular clothes and the Chinese dress from my original Count D costume.
This was one he put in his portfolio for FIT. It actually came about because I had an ironing accident. XD; He didn’t like any of my colored shirts so he asked me to wear a white shirt and then use some sheer fabrics as props to add color. So, I was ironing this piece of organza when the iron slipped off the edge of my pressing cloth and burned a hole in it. Good thing I hadn’t made anything with it yet. ^_^;;
This one was also in the portfolio. The purple is actually one of the scarves from my Terra costume. You can see a tiny bit of the gold trim on it in the corner.
A third pic from the portfolio. My brother said the interviewer liked the color on this one. My hand is where it is because we were trying to hide how far the slits went up. I’d designed it to be worn with a skirt or pants underneath but my brother said he wanted to photograph only the dress. I only agreed because we were just doing studio shots inside the house; this dress will never be seen in public on its own. And now those of you reading probably won’t look at that Count D costume in quite the same way again… :-P
And a few extras which weren’t in the portfolio. I should probably smile more often in photos but I always feel that my gums will show and/or it’ll make my already large face look even bigger. -_-;
Here’s one from a series he shot from above, standing on a chair, if I remember correctly.
A profile shot. I think profiles tend to come out better for me than other types of shots. They certainly tend to make their way into my icons and avatars pretty often. ^_^;
