New Count D photos

ladyofthethreadThanksgiving here was okay. Lots of food although my mother (literally) blew a fuse or something, trying to cook it all. ^_^;
And now for the pictures of the original Count D outfit that my brother took last week… Here’s one of the more interesting ones. I was trying to imitate a pose from an artbook picture but didn’t like how the back came out so I cropped it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a better stuffed dragon around to use for the pic; this one kind of blends into the rug patterns. ^_^; Hmm... I sort of match the rug... We're both covered with ridiculous amounts of patterns. *laugh*
The original I cropped the previous pic from. I didn’t like how the back of the dress lies and my foot should have been higher in the air but then it would have gone past the edge of the rug. My brother didn’t agree with me on whether there was a good place to crop the photo so I did it myself. >_>;
Sorry for the blindingly bright background on some of these. My brother wanted to test out his new lights but didn’t have a proper backdrop so he pinned some fabric to the living room curtains. However, it was rather wrinkled so he tried to blur it out with really bright light. ^_^;;;
With Q-Chan and the dragon. I stuck the dragon up on my shoulder instead of Q-Chan since I didn’t get a chance to sew in magnets like on the other dress. He doesn’t do very well at staying up there without the magnets so I have to go back and add them sometime.
And here you can obviously see my lining. I thought about being lazy and skipping a lining on this since my store bought cheongsam didn’t have one. >_>; But I figured I would be annoyed if the back of the brocade showed while I was walking around so I put one in. (It was one of those brocades with bands of different colors going across the back.)
And the one with the birdcage I already posted at cosplay.com. My brother got tired of the white background and decided to try using a gel in the light, hence the yellowish background. Didn’t realize until after I got the photos and saw this one that I never got a creepy picture of the first D costume even though it’s from a horror series. XD
