I started with a different pattern for the actual dress but the instructions for frogs I had came from Folkwear’s Hong Kong Cheongsam pattern. (http://www.folkwear.com/122.html)

My scanner is broken so I can’t share the directions but I did a search and found this page which explains how to make a basic frog:
