Hmm... I probably should post some ramblings on Pet Shop of Horrors when I do my next post on books. It's mainly episodic but beginning in vol. 3, we start to get hints about the mysterious Count D's past and it's kind of a puzzle trying to figure out what he is exactly since he doesn't seem like an ordinary human. And what his motives are since he's involved in some rather shady dealings and the pets he sells sometimes turn on their owners (although the police can never prove anything). He reminds me a bit of the count in Gankutsuou. Oh, and he likes to flirt with Leon, the detective who's investigating him, but I think he does it mostly to get on Leon's nerves rather than seriously. XD;
