I’m feeling a little frazzled tonight over hotel arrangements for AnimeNext. I was saying that I’d be willing to take the sofa bed and let my brother and his friends have the king bed but my brother said his friends didn’t want that. It irks me because I’m being nice enough to let them share the room (normally, I would not share a room with anyone other than family members) without pressing for money to share costs and they’re complaining. -_-X

I’m still waiting for word about cosplay chess but according to the AnimeNext forums, the notifications should be out by tomorrow morning. Hope that will happen as planned so I’ll have one less thing to worry about. (EDIT: Got the e-mail and I'm in. ^_^ They picked the costume I was only going to bring if it was chosen for chess so I've got to gather all the little bits of it tomorrow.)

I managed to get a few things done today though. My documentation and references are all printed out and ready for costume judging. Plus, my sister just helped me burn a CD with my masquerade music. Also perused the tentative schedule that has been posted on the AnimeNext site. Don't see many panels I want to go to this year but I'm really looking forward to cosplay chess and anime dating game. ^_^

Will work on packing tomorrow and will hopefully get any remaining kinks related to the con ironed out over the next couple of days.

At Katsucon, I decided to try an experiment with the rooming situation and allowed non-friends to room with me for the first time. Put a posting up saying I had space and to contact if interested. I also insisted on payment in advance. In the end, everyone paid up, but I'm still waiting on one person. It's not much that has to be paid, but I still hate having an unsettled debt on hand.

Well, normally, I would just have a room to myself or with my brother so it isn't all about the money. (Just too paranoid to room with random people. >_>;) I'm more annoyed that they don't seem completely appreciative of my offer.

Yes, I look forward to seeing you at cosplay chess, too. You'll probably catch me clumsily tripping around the board and crashing into people. XD
