Ack, only 4 weeks left until Costume Con and I still have so much left to do! o_o; If it were just a regular anime con, I wouldn’t stress so much. But Costume Con attracts people who have been costuming for decades and their masquerades are considered international level competitions so I feel like I have to have my best work for it.

Ekaterina
-finish black skirt
-make a cravat to add to an old fashioned shirt I made a few years back
-buy lining for the jacket
-pattern and make the burgundy jacket
-finish styling the wig
-find a gray mask that looks somewhat like hers and not glaringly modern
-figure out what to use for veil material
-cut and hem veil and attach it to the hat
-decide what I’m doing about shoes
-plan walk-on presentation
-register for historical masquerade
-write documentation (this is optional for the historical masquerade so it might get dropped if I run out of time)

19th Century Count D
-pattern and build a huge phoenix to attach to my arm
-maybe a new sash and brooch?
-plan walk-on presentation (I don’t even have any music ideas for this yet. x_x;)
-register for sci-fi and fantasy masquerade (This might be dropped if I can’t finish the bird on time. This is still my favorite costume and I’d love to show it onstage at Costume Con but don’t want to do it without having something new to add to it)

And as if that weren’t enough, I leave for Anime Boston 2 1/2 weeks after I get home from Costume Con and then go to AnimeNext 2 1/2 weeks after I get home from Boston. So, I also need to figure out what I’m making for AnimeNext soon in case I need to order any wigs, patterns, or special materials. (I’m not even going to attempt to do something new for Boston since I know there’s nothing I would be able to make that quickly. I really hate that 3 out of the 4 cons I’m going to this year are crammed within a month and a half of each other!)

Plus, I need to write material, print copies, sew samples, and put together an insane number of kits for my seam finishes workshop at Anime Boston.

Bah, I’m going to have to be a sewing hermit until AnimeNext is over. X_X;
