Mar. 25th, 2007 10:30 pmMaybe, it means I've spent a bit too long working on my Ayame costume but I had the random thought earlier of him holding a fashion show and making his relatives model his creations... *laugh*
Anyway, I took a progress pic to show the collar area plus the roses for my bouquet: http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=1027024
Not the most exciting thing to look at but I’d like to get the sleeves done before taking a more complete picture. And the coat really doesn’t look as bright a red as that photo makes it seem; it’s actually burgundy. Still haven’t made a definite decision about whether I’m making the necktie out of the same fabric as the coat or another red fabric. Thoughts, anyone?
Also, I decided I needed a bit of a break from working on Ayame the other day so I tried to dye my wig for Sora. I’m going to have to get some more sharpies and do touchups though because I didn’t get the dye completely even. ^_^; It seems particularly easy to miss spots at the roots on layers that aren’t right on the surface of the wig. No pic of that yet.
