So much for helping out in the office… This morning, I went out to the store with my father and sister, thinking that there would be something for me to work on in the office. However, it seems like my father never really talked to his partner to ask if he actually needed or wanted help with the office work. -_- I even had my offer to take some letters across the street to the post office turned down. After waiting around for a couple of hours and not actually being given anything to do, I decided it would be more productive for me to just go home and catch up with filing papers there.
Bah, I’m annoyed. -_-X I feel like people who should know better have no confidence in my ability to do things. Even if I do act somewhat silly online, I am far from simple-minded. I double majored in marketing and finance at NYU (super competitive and supposedly one of the best undergrad business programs in the country). Plus, I graduated with honors even though I hated business school and only stayed because I was pressured by my parents. Having done that, I would think that I should be able to figure out how to do most stuff around the office if given proper directions! *grumbles*
Maybe, I’ll make another post later since I finally got Halloween pictures from my brother last night…
