Finished the sleeve for the peacock dress today. ^_^ Putting in the eyelets was something new for me but turned out to not be that hard. It just took a lot of tapping with the hammer. (My brother was wondering what was going on since he heard hammering and wandered up here and asked “Why are you hammering your fabric?” XD) And although the instructions said to make sure to hold the eyelet tool straight, I found that it helped to tilt it a tiny bit when you’re nearly done and go around in a circle to flatten down the edges completely.

Got the 6 eyelets put in without a problem and then I braided some embroidery floss to lace through them. The lighting isn’t great but I took a pic of the finished sleeve. *squints at picture* The lacing looks kind of weird on the middle pair of eyelets because they don’t both go into the holes from the same side of the fabric. But that was exactly how it was drawn in the reference image so I laced it that way. Oh, well. The purple you can see through the slit is my lining.
