"It's too darn hot."

Ugh, I hope the heat wave ends soon. My room tends to be the hottest in the house during the summer and my air conditioner just can’t seem to handle it. It usually takes a long time to cool the room decently. Plus, it started making rattling noises yesterday, which didn’t seem like a good sign. x_x;

I ended up sleeping on the sofa in the living room last night since it was cooler in there than in my room. Not exactly the most comfortable place to sleep but I doubt I would have been able to fall asleep in my room considering the heat. Hope I don’t have to do that again tonight. I would like to actually be rested before Otakon starts!

About halfway done with packing. Have to finish up this afternoon.

LOL The closest book happened to be vol. 8 of Fruits Basket since I moved my manga collection to a shelf on my computer hutch a couple of months ago. Not the best thing for this meme but the sentences in question were Kyo talking to Tohru…

If there’s one thing this stupid family is good at, it’s telling people what they can’t do. If I’m not careful…(flashback panel with Akito saying “Over my dead body!”) ……! ……No. Never mind that.

And since I’m sure a few on my friends list are busy getting ready for Otakon, just take it if you want.
