Hmm… The weather has been rather blah here since the big thunderstorm last week when the basement almost flooded. I haven’t been out much but I wish we’d get a nice really sunny (not just partly sunny) day for a change. I’m getting tired of overcast skies.
I got the lining for my Terra dress cut out and sewn although I nearly ran out of red thread (must go out and buy more soon). Looks like I got the length about right when I shortened the pattern but it definitely needs to be taken in. I cut out what should have been my size according to the chart on the pattern envelope but the top is falling down (not good when it’s a strapless dress! o_o;) and the waist area looks too big, also.
Oh, and I realized I forgot to post this here last week. I might end up tweaking these and shortening them at the wrist end because the parts meant to go over the back of my hands seem a bit long right now.
