I chatted a bit with my best friend earlier this evening which was good since I hadn’t talked to her for a while. ^_^ We went to elementary school together and have tried to keep in touch despite going to different schools afterwards. Nowadays, we usually talk by IM or e-mail and only see each other a few times a year. I sent her an e-mail a few weeks back with cherry blossom festival pictures but hadn’t heard back so I assumed she was busy with school and work. I hadn’t bumped into her on IM either for some time until tonight. Our interests have diverged somewhat these days and I have to admit, I was starting to get a bit paranoid after my roleplaying friends practically disappearing from our little forum. ^_^;;;
I’ve gotten my Terra armwarmers sewn together although I might cut them down a bit at the wrist end since the part that goes over the back of my hand seems a bit long. My fabric doesn’t stretch so I had allowed some extra to account for when my wrist is bent but now it looks weird if my arm is straight.
I wanted to get started on the lining for the top of my Ayame coat tonight but I couldn’t find my pattern. -_-; (The seams in the coattails are already finished with bias binding.) I was pretty sure I left it with my other costume stuff in the living room but it doesn’t seem to be there and it’s not in the plastic box where I keep patterns I’m not using. I hope I can find it, considering how messy this place is, because I don’t want to buy another copy just to line the top of the coat.
