Thanks! :-) Yeah, I made my own corset. I wanted it to be extra nice since it was intended for Costume Con. I learned to sew a bit from my mother and I refined my skills while getting a fashion design certificate at Parsons. I think the rest is really just practice and patience. I used to do needlework a lot, too, so that helps with the handsewing type things.
