Late Night Craziness
So, after seeing Dia and Fatwetdog’s gorgeous xxxHolic costumes up close the other night at the Krazy party, I’m feeling inspired to do something super elaborate and try out for the WCS this year. ^_^ I want to do this crazy thing, Layla’s Cinderella dress from Kaleido Star:
April Fool’s! I have no interest in trying out for WCS for several practical reasons; a big one being that I won’t fly, which makes it pointless for me when the prize is basically a trip to Japan for the finals. Back when I was at NYU, all business school students were supposed to go to Europe for a week during spring break junior year as part of an international business class. I wouldn’t fly and refused to sign the travel waivers so they let me take extra electives instead to replace the class. >_>; So, not going to change my mind about that for something like cosplay.
I do actually want to make Layla’s Cinderella dress in the future though. Right now, I think I’ll aim for Costume Con in 2011 since it should be in NJ or NY that year. And I would love to have other characters for a group if anyone’s interested! ^_^
