Hmm… That idea actually did cross my mind but I’m not certain how effective it would be; the three outer layers of skirts are all split to waist level on both sides so a petticoat might end up only pushing the underskirt out. :-/ I’d rather not have to add more when I already have so many layers but might try it if nothing else works.
