Hmm… How about a gold dragon like the small one D is petting in one of the artbook pics? (the one with the pose I was trying to imitate in my icon) That would probably go well with the red and black from your costume. :-)
Or for something more colorful… One of my favorite needlework designers, Teresa Wentzler, has some pretty dragon designs. One of my favorites has to be “Stretch” the Magic Dragon on the free designs page. I have him stitched on a totebag and think it’d be fun to make a plushie based on him if I’m ever not busy with costumes. ^_^ I’ve also done Futurecast and there’s a picture of my color scheme along with many others on the site. (It was designed so that you’d pick your own colors. Mine is credited under my stitching alias and you might recognize it from the icon I have of it.)
