Yeah, I decided I should ask for the pearls as a present since there’s not much that I want.
I can only speak a bit of Cantonese (badly) and don’t know Mandarin or how to read Chinese. I used to know more Italian than Chinese (had Italian classes for 6 years in school) but I’ve forgotten most of it now. ^_^;; My mother was in Macau shortly after leaving China and before going to Hong Kong. And my father can speak Spanish since his family immigrated to Cuba from China and they lived there for some years before the revolution.
