Oh, D contacts! I know where you can get those in RX powers!

I talked to my optometrist and he said toric lenses won't make that much difference unless they're for daily wear. You can still see just fine with regular ones. My perscription is strong like a -4.50 and a -4.75 with a stigmatism in the left. I've never had to bother getting toric lenses, the regular ones work just fine for me. I only wear them on special occasions or at cons.

I got the clearly colours violet venom ones from clearlycontacts.com. They're really nice on dark eyes. I didn't order mine in perscription but I could have. They take 3 days to fedex them to you.

The reason I did'nt get them in RX powers was because I didn't think the amber from that brand was gold enough to work for D and ayame, I was doing both at the same con last year. I got a pair of sunburst lenses from the hallween section on that site instead. It's very very bright and I luv it, but it didn't come in RX only plain. I can't wear one contact with perscription and one without so I had to get both the violet and gold pairs without.

If you want to try another type instead of the freaky yellow ones I went for, acuvue 2 colours opaques has a warm honey that might be ok and they come in RX. there's also Illusions in soft amber. I think these lenses look the best for a natural light golden look. They're just beautifully blended.

did that help at all?
